Posting from blogger app after migration to WordPress

I assume this still works. Having just tried the WordPress blogging app I find it very disappointing and this would be my weapon of choice if I start to use this blog.

Migrated to WordPress

I have just migrated this blog from MS Live to WordPress. Process seemed smooth enough. Liked the integration with Live writer to automatically configure it ready to use. Will see if this works overall over time

Testing blogger app to post the livespaces blog

Well, the title says it all really doesn’t it. 🙂

Updates using ScribeFire Firefox extention

I’ve just tried installing an extension to Firefox called ScribeFire which works with many blogs and provides a reasonable looking editor for posting which includes most of the tools one might want.  The thing I saw which made me thing this could be useful is the context menu extension which will take a selected part of an web page, and automatically create a blog entry with a link to the relevant page and the selected text copied in as a quote.

The editor also sports a built in spell checker and live spelling mistake highlighting and easy right click corrections.  Time to see if this submits OK 🙂
